Terms of sale

Last updated: 9 July 2026

These terms of sale govern your use of preparationexamencivique2026.fr, published by Clémence Charbonnier (sole trader), trading as KAIROS ENTREPRISES, and the sale of lifetime Premium access. You accept them explicitly when creating your account.

1. Purpose

The site offers a private practice service for the French civic exam (knowledge and situational questions). It is neither operated by, affiliated with, nor endorsed by the Ministry of the Interior or any public authority. Knowledge questions reuse the official list published by the Ministry; explanations and situational scenarios are produced independently for educational purposes.

2. User account

Access to your personal space requires creating an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the accuracy of the information you provide.

An account is personal and may not be shared.

3. Free offer and Premium access

The core service is free and the score is never hidden: the full mock exam, theme practice, a limited number of adaptive mock exams and situational scenarios per week, and A2/B1/B2 explanations (included free for everyone), are all available at no cost.

Lifetime Premium access (a one-time payment, no subscription) unlocks only the following depth, actually available today: unlimited situational practice and unlimited mock exams — never the score itself, which always stays free to see.

A personalised study plan, detailed per-theme analytics, and multilingual explanations are planned but not yet available; they are not charged for until they are delivered.

4. Price and payment

The price of lifetime Premium access, tax included, is shown on the /tarifs page at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe in a single charge; no card data ever touches our servers.

VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French tax code (CGI), unless stated otherwise on /tarifs should our VAT-exemption status change.

5. Right of withdrawal and digital content

Under article L221-28 8° of the French Consumer Code, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content not supplied on a physical medium whose performance has begun after your prior, express agreement and waiver of that right — which is the case for Premium access, available immediately after payment.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge requesting immediate access to the content and waiving your right of withdrawal as soon as Premium access is actually granted to you.

6. Intellectual property

All content produced by the publisher (text, explanations, situational scenarios, interface, code) is protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction without authorisation is prohibited.

7. Liability

The site's content is provided for educational purposes and does not replace official sources. We encourage you to always verify regulatory information (eligibility, fees, exam centres) on service-public.fr and Légifrance before any administrative procedure.

8. Termination and account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from /app/compte. A 30-day grace period precedes permanent deletion of your data, in line with our privacy policy (/confidentialite).

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, you may turn to a consumer mediator before any court action, in accordance with articles L616-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
