French levels A2 / B1 / B2

The required French level depends on the procedure; it is set by the arrêté of 10 October 2025. Our explanations are available at all three levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), so everyone can understand at their own pace.

• A2: short sentences, simple vocabulary.
• B1: intermediate level, fuller sentences.
• B2: advanced level, wording closer to administrative language.
